Italian Guitar Camp 2025

Dear Reader,

I’m thrilled to share that we’re ready for the next Italian Guitar Camp in 2025, and this time, we’re bringing some exciting new ideas to make your experience even more unforgettable!

The Italian Guitar Camp 2025 will take place from May 19th to 23rd and from May 26th to 30th, 2025 in Lamezia Terme, Calabria.

You can join us for one week—or stay for both if you'd like to extend your time with us.

This year, we are introducing a slightly new concept, while keeping the heart of the camp the same. The Italian Guitar Camp is about people, love, acceptance, growth, culture, challenges, depth, family, emotions, and of course, about music 😁.

You’ll have the Option 1 - a private lesson with me or the Option 2 - two lessons with one of my highly valued Italian colleagues—Michele de Fazio in the first week and Federica le Piane in the second week. Both are exceptional teachers, and I’m so happy to have them as part of our camp. But don’t worry—no matter who your lessons are with, the overall camp experience will be very similar. We will spend most of the time together, during group workshops, at other participants’ lessons, and at joint activities. So, we’ll have plenty of time to talk, and I’ll be happy to answer all of your questions!

I’m also excited to announce that for 2025, we’re adding an ensemble as a new part of the camp experience. Playing together is such a wonderful way to connect musically and personally. Everyone who wishes to participate is welcome, and of course, you can join us without taking part in the ensemble if you prefer.

During the camp, we’ll continue to spend quality time together, both in and out of lessons. We’ll enjoy guitar, recording, and cooking workshops, and take time to explore the rich culture of Italy. And of course, we’ll share delicious meals, go on sightseeing trips, and enjoy a little time to relax (just a little 😉) and enjoy each other’s company.

As always, our camp will take place at the beautiful Casa Gemma, where our wonderful hosts, Armida, Raffaele, and their family, will make you feel like one of their own. Their warm hospitality truly makes the camp feel like a home away from home.

If you’re worried about whether your level of playing will fit, let me assure you—the concept of the camp is designed for almost all levels, from beginners to professionals. This has worked wonderfully in past years, and we’ve been amazed at how much professionals can learn from amateurs and vice versa. So, if you know the names of the guitar strings—you’ll fit in perfectly at our camp.

I’m also very happy to share that six participants from previous years have already registered for the camp next year. This tells me that this event not only brings people together, but goes far beyond a musical experience, where people become true friends and deeply enjoy their time together.
